The Nike Play campaign was augmented with this grass roots marketing festival. Cinnabar provided festival elements for New York and LA events. The festivals were moved to new neighborhood venues once or twice each week for 8 weeks.

In the summer of 2001, from Watts to Silver Lake to Venice Beach, "Play" was the word. Talented players came from all over Los Angeles to show off their skills in dancing, biking, skipping, hula-hooping, hacky-sacking, and general ball bouncing. Spectacular sunny skys graced the events while Cinnabar's Will Scroggins lead the Crew in the logistics of moving the show from venue to venue.
