The creation
of Public art is a unique process. It requires long-term overseeing
of quality, communication and budget.
Quality:
Quality of workmanship is key to long term durability. Public
Art is usually intended to have a life span measured in centuries.
Quality must by managed and maintained during the design and fabrication
process
Communication:
Public Art projects always have a complex network of participants.
It is our priority to see that the diverse interests of all involved
parties are adhered to.
Budget:
Perhaps most importantly, Public Art projects must work within
the constraints of the funding available. Careful project management
is critical from the very beginning of the design phase to ensure
that the funding is allocated wisely.
